the end and the beginning.
My two and a half months of camp are finished. I met people from around the world, laughed with them, cried with them, was hyper and overtired with them, and made so many memories with the kids and staff. The hardest things are most often the most worth it. so many of these kids come hurting so much they are ready to die, and leave with hope. I pray that through my life that is what I can give... Hope in Christ. Autobots, Roll out!

Ketchup miracle
If you heard the Brightwood kitchen staff's prayer this morning you might have been very confused. "thank God for ketchup is something you don't always hear .
Yesterday one of my campers tried to commit suicide, and after we talked her down, and got her to talk to us, I called mom, and prayed with her. I asked God to "send me a little miracle, just the ketchup we had been out of for days. Send ketchup on the donation truck, show me you have the little things and I can trust that you will work a miracle in these kid's lives. " That was at 10 pm. At 11 pm the donations came in, and I wasn't there. I came in the next morning and sitting there was not one bottle of ketchup, but three boxes and ten cans of ketchup. The kitchen staff also found one single sized glass ketchup bottle as a reminder for me. God not only answers us, he goes way further than we could ever ask!
