making time to take time
I forget. Reading my bible sometimes seems to fall by the wayside, and I need to remember that in the still times, the busy times, and when it seems irrelevant, God is who I should be wanting to talk to. Lets learn about Him before we go out. Let's talk to him before we yell at others. Let's admire his creation before we do our own work. That's what the bible on my desk is for.

Two love
I was thinking today about God's plan for marriage. One man and one woman for life. Matthew 22:30 At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. Just think! True love for eternity? How romantic! Why does humankind put quantity ahead of quality? What do our relationships in general have to say about our hearts? What would the world be like if we all waited for our Twoo wuv?

the end and the beginning.
My two and a half months of camp are finished. I met people from around the world, laughed with them, cried with them, was hyper and overtired with them, and made so many memories with the kids and staff. The hardest things are most often the most worth it. so many of these kids come hurting so much they are ready to die, and leave with hope. I pray that through my life that is what I can give... Hope in Christ. Autobots, Roll out!

Ketchup miracle
If you heard the Brightwood kitchen staff's prayer this morning you might have been very confused. "thank God for ketchup is something you don't always hear .
Yesterday one of my campers tried to commit suicide, and after we talked her down, and got her to talk to us, I called mom, and prayed with her. I asked God to "send me a little miracle, just the ketchup we had been out of for days. Send ketchup on the donation truck, show me you have the little things and I can trust that you will work a miracle in these kid's lives. " That was at 10 pm. At 11 pm the donations came in, and I wasn't there. I came in the next morning and sitting there was not one bottle of ketchup, but three boxes and ten cans of ketchup. The kitchen staff also found one single sized glass ketchup bottle as a reminder for me. God not only answers us, he goes way further than we could ever ask!

The beginning of my blogging attempt and the reason behind this phenomenon
Hello everyone
currently reading this! I have been told I should start a blog, even though I
am ADD and can’t spell. So I was thinking… vidblog? But no. I dislike cameras,
so Blog rambling it is!
The reason
behind the online journaling is because I will soon be going out of my
beautiful Canada into also beautiful Australia
for school. I will be going to YWAM base Brisbane ( say Brisbin) for a Fine
arts ( painting) discipleship training. This will be the first time ever
travelling out of country, and I am doing it all by myself, underage. Guess how
fun that makes visa processing!
Currently I am
working at Brightwood ranch, a camp for Kids at risk. In the kitchen. Again. But we did throw pie crust at the walls and I became
a tipi ninja and held my own head cook for hostage. ( say cookies!) This year
has been crazy. I finished High school early, dealt with two funerals and a
wedding, (not mine) finished one job, started another, and worked on bazillions
of paperwork forms (mostly online. Is it still paperwork if it’s not on paper?)
and I am now getting ready for YWAM. Thus saying, I need prayer. My body seems
to be working fine, but my brain is processing things fairly slow.. It’s
impossible to sustain a coffee habit around camp these days. Bad news for
brainwork. Although the after the third cup of coffee I’m usually fine…
Signing off before you do,
Kynya :)
